Mhm, exactly. That would be the punishment part of the matter.

[ In all honesty, MGillis had expected Izou to break already and maybe that's a fault of his - that he always underestimates Izou's need for praise, because it's by far the least relatable thing about the other man. Even understanding it in the abstract, the sheer extent of that desire for reward is always going to remain incomprehensible to McGillis. Being reliant on others is a waste, a weakness. He's thought so all his life, and for all that he's been browbeaten into allowing a select few into his heart, it's still a base assumption that is difficult to shake.

And so he gets to know Izou time and time again, learns anew over and over just how determined he is to be good.

Right now, they're in a good situation for it. Safe, unserious. Even McGillis can't get annoyed here - he just remains curious, wondering if he can push past the breaking point.

He reaches towards the front to undo the tying of Izou's Hakama. Loosening that up makes it easy to tug the kimono open at the front and further pull it down, McGillis' hands now free to roam over well-defined abs. ]

You're a lot more pliant than I expected, I will say.
