MEGA MCGILLIS BEAM: McGillis' gun transforms into a cannon, and he also gains a pair of sharp, purple wings. These don't allow him to fly per se, but they will give him a mighty speed boost. He can run forward and send giant blasts of wind energy at multiple enemies in rapid succession. The blasts will entangle his targets in a large gust of wind that deals severe multi-target wind damage. The wings will shatter once he's done attacking.

With Izou: CAUGHT IN A (WHIRLWIND) ROMANCE: As befitting a battle couple, McGillis and Izou's elemental magic swirls to join together around them, enhancing McGillis's gun with curse magic and Izou's sword with wind magic. In addition to their regular combat rolls, they can each choose to deal additional instances of damage - either three separate rounds of multi-target medium damage of the other's element or one instance of severe single-target damage of the other's element, all without sapping any of their own reserves of energy.

The pair ability may be triggered by either party and ends after all additional damage rounds have been used up. The ability takes effect the turn it is activated and must be used immediately (for the single-target damage) or over the next three consecutive turns (for multi-target damage). This ability cannot be used at the same time as any other Rank 10 pair ability involving McGillis and Izou and can only be used once per battle.

With Celeste: A CAGE NO LONGER: Stage lights shine down on the pair in a pattern resembling a cage. As McGillis takes Celeste into his arms for a dance, the wind itself guides their steps into movements so natural, it feels like muscle memory rather than an improvised choreography. Together, they may break free of the cage and attack in tandem - when Celeste acts, he maneuvers McGillis into position to take a free attack. When McGillis acts, he, too, maneuvers Celeste into position to take a free attack. Both free attacks may be utilized each round, though they must be offensive skills even if the action leading into it is not. As they are in an advantageous position when making these free attacks, the player may roll with advantage for the attack itself as well.

At the end of three rounds, the stage lights fade, and they each take a bow before returning to normal combat.

This pair ability may be triggered by either party and lasts for three turns, including the turn it is activated. This ability cannot be used at the same time as any other Rank 10 ability involving McGillis or Celeste, and can only be used once per battle.

OPT-OUT

McGillis' backstory deals with CSA and prostitution as well as suicidal ideation. This is not going to come up in the average thread. It's entirely possible to have close CR with McGillis without ever encountering these topics.

However, there is a possibility of matters being discussed or referenced as characters get closer. I will always warn in the subject line if one of these topics comes up.
